Hi,<br>
<br>
I configured a separate asterisk for this. I think you shouldn't
modify the aserisk installed in spce, since it's intended to make
work the voicemail.<br>
<br>
There are a few things you have to do:<br>
<ul>
<li>Create a suscriber in spce</li>
<li>Use it like a peer in asterisk (sip.conf)</li>
<li>In extensions.conf you have to use receivefax function, there
is a lot of examples in internet, like the one I wrote.</li>
<li>With an agi script you can send the file to any email
account(you must be careful with dns, because the mail can be
treated as spam)</li>
</ul>
<p>Cheers!<br>
</p>

Hi,<br>
<br>
thank you for your help.<br>
<br>
Did you configure this on your spce server or on a seperate
server?<br>
<br>
How do forward fax calls to the asterisk fax?<br>

Hi Flo,<br>
<br>
I do it with asterisk, with res_fax_digium module. It's quite
easy to<br>
install. Here you can find an installation guide:<br>

<br>
I hope you can find it useful :D<br>

Hello,<br>
<br>
I know, that this function is only a pro feature, but the pro
fax<br>
feature has many more functions than only fax2mail.<br>
<br>
We want to use <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="sip:provider">sip:provider</a> ce, but some of our customer need
that<br>
feature.<br>
<br>
Is there a software solution or a howto out there to get this
function<br>
for the ce version?<br>
<br>
If there is no solution for that, maybe it is possible to
forward the<br>
fax number to a fax enabled pbx? How can I do this?
(forwarding only a<br>
special number, is that possible?)<br>
<br>
Thank you!<br>
