<div dir="ltr"><div><div><div><div><div><div><div>Got it to work, on audio/video.<br><br>So think there was a bit of confusion, but thank-you so much for all who helped point me in the right direction.<br><br>My notes on getting <a href="http://tryit.jssip.net">tryit.jssip.net</a> to work, ie two clients using <a href="http://tryit.jssip.net">tryit.jssip.net</a> to use my own sip server from two clients using their own browsers.<br><br>1) So far only tested under chrome (yosemite chrome 43.0.2357.132)<br><br>2) make sure you have set up a proper SSL cert (ie got one signed from godaddy or the like), not sure you really need this for WS, but would probably need it for WSS. Namely, think the <a href="http://tryit.jssip.net">tryit.jssip.net</a> doesn't have a mode of "insecure" ssl usage... but I'm only guessing on that. If you roll your own <a href="http://jssip.net">jssip.net</a> I bet there's an option in one of the javascript calls to allow insecure... but I'm only guessing. <br><br>3) configure your own sip server (I just simply used the AMI image so nicely provided by sipwise), by logging into your admin interface, ie <a href="https://yourip:1443/user/login">https://yourip:1443/user/login</a> administrator/yourpassword<br><div style="margin-left:40px">a. Add at least two subscribers (so they can talk to one another... they can be two seperate 'custoemrs' or two subscribers of belonging to the same customer. I'm calling my users user1 and user2.<br></div><div style="margin-left:40px">b. Go into each subscriber -> detail -> preferences -> nat media control flow<br></div><div style="margin-left:40px"><div style="margin-left:40px">use_rtpproxy = Always with rtpproxy as ONLY ice canidate<br></div></div><div style="margin-left:40px"><div style="margin-left:40px">transport_protocol = RTP/SAVPF encrypted RTP with RTCP feedback<br></div></div><div style="margin-left:40px"><div style="margin-left:40px">all other params left to their defaults<br></div></div><div style="margin-left:40px">c. go into domains -> yourdomain preferences -> nat media control flow #A note, I'm not fully sure what all has to be set here, but Daniel kept pointing at the transport_protocol, but think use_rtpproxy might also need setting... at least this is what I have and its working for me<br></div><div style="margin-left:40px"><div style="margin-left:40px">use_rtpproxy = always with plain SDP <br></div></div><div style="margin-left:40px"><div style="margin-left:40px">transport_protocol = rtp/avp plain rtp<br></div></div><div style="margin-left:40px"><div style="margin-left:40px">all other params left to their defaults<br><br></div></div>4) on a chrome browser, each client opens <a href="http://tryit.jssip.net">tryit.jssip.net</a> and the following for each line upon opening the page<br></div>name: user1<br></div>sip uri: sip:user1@mysipserverdnsorip<br></div>password: user1spassword<br></div>ws uri: ws://mysipserver:5060/ws<br><br></div><div>5) then simply enter "user1" or "user2" in the call box press the phone button and it should work. <br></div><div><br><br></div>And that's about it.
