you can tell the SPCE to register on behalf of the subscriber to
the external PBX system by just filling the preferences REMOTE
AUTHENTICATION in the subscriber's preferences:
<br>
<br>
“peer_auth_user”,
<br>
“peer_auth_pass”,

“peer_auth_proxy”

“peer_auth_register”

with the external PBX credentials.

Once the preferences have been saved, the SPCE will automatically
send a REGISTER request to the PBX system.

Your end client will be register on SPCE, whicle the SPCE will be
registered on behalf the end user to the external PBX.

Not really sure why you need this scenario, but this is what you
can achieve with SPCE on this matter.

Hello,
<br>
<br>
no it is definitely no PBX at the end of the day.
<br>
<br>
It is a SIP server solution for providing a peering connection
to several hundreds or thousands of subscriber.
<br>
<br>
I really don’t get the point for what reason you want to
connect a SPCE to a PBX.. what is your plan?
<br>
<br>
Normally it goes this way: PTSN/SIP-NNI => SPCE => PBX
<br>
<br>
For sure you can, but you have to enable user/pass
authenficiation for peerings.
<br>
<br>
But anyway, this is not common… normally you do Peering
connections via ip authorization.
<br>
<br>
But like I told before, I really don’t get the point, what you
want to do with that.

I have information that can be done in CE.
<br>
<br>
CE is not a PBX at the end of the day? why i can register a CE
to a PBX and can't do the same with a PBX register in CE? i
have specific username and password of PBX that can't be
changed.
<br>
<br>
with register i mean the registration process of a device. in
a sip client you register a subscriber i need this also in CE.
<br>
<br>
peering does not have option to register for incoming calls or
at least i didn't found it.
<br>
<br>
Thanks

Hello,
<br>
<br>
i think you misunderstand the workflow of the SPCE.
<br>
<br>
You can’t register the SPCE as a subscriber on the PBX.
<br>
<br>
You need to register the PBX as a subscriber on the SPCE!
<br>
<br>
So you create a new subscriber on the SPCE and connect
your PBX
<br>
via the SPCE IP and the created Username and Password of
the
<br>
subscriber.
<br>
<br>
If you want to connect your PBX as a peering to the SPCE,
really
<br>
don’t know for what reason, than you can create a SPCE
Peering and
<br>
connect the SPCE to the PBX, but I really don’t know why
you want
<br>
to do this.
