It registers with Kamailio. As Jon already mentioned in another thread,
Asterisk is only used as end-point, so forget about that unless you use
voicemail or reminder service.

You can check registrations via various ways:

- On the admin panel via User Administration -> Subscribers and there in
Subscriber Details on the bottom

- On the CLI via "ngcp-kamctl proxy ul show <user at domain>"

- In the DB in kamailio.location
