JFYI, we can't reproduce it on our test systems with neither a
fresh, minimal Debian 6.0.1a installation nor with a debootstrapped
Debian 6.0 system (so retrieving updates during ngcp installation)
nor with a recent deboostrapped squeeze release as of today.

This appears to be an issue with the VPS as it cannot load
linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64 or
linux-image-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64. I've logged a ticket with the provider.

Thanks.
