[Spce-user] vmnotify problem

Could someone confirm whether VM-Notify is indeed intended to be working or
is definitely working on their spce 2.2 out-of-box?

Hi,

 

 For some strange reason the vmnotify does not appear to be working OOB on
spce2.2 but I think it did before on a different test server with 2.1. The
devices I am using are PAP2T & Aastra 6731, both are connected and working
fine in every way but both seem to have MWI blinking/notice even when there
is no voicemail for the extension. After reset of MWI on the devices, this
goes away though now neither device indicates waiting messages even when
there is a voicemail waiting.

 

 I've run ngrep while leaving a voicemail and also checking/deleting
voicemail but I don't see any NOTIFY of simple-message-summary being sent to
either devices. I've checked voicemail.log and it seems the vmnotify script
is being executed via externnotify though I'm not 100% on where else to look
for what might be causing this trouble.

 

 Below is a snip of voicemail.log, as you can see there is 1 vm waiting but
I don't see any NOTIFY being sent to the device.

 

 Any suggestions on where I can look next to try and troubleshoot this?
