Hi:
I've done a fresh install in a deditacted PC with Debian network
installation as recomended. This is my first sipwise install.
I've set up a domain and I can make calls (inbound and outbound with a SIP
peering and between sipwise users).
I've modified the confing.yml so the VM number is 9999. Other things have
been changed such as IP addresses, but most of the changes are the ones
recommended in the handbook.
When I call 9999 or I call a user (with cfu to VoiceBox) I just hear
silence. In SIP I have a "*SIP/2.0 408 Request Timeout*".
I've been looking at the logs and as far as I can see, Asterisk is breaking
every time I call it.
This is the output of */var/log/syslog* (at the time the call is made)
Mar 7 10:26:28 sipwise kernel: [514199.145435] asterisk[27536]:
*segfault*at 407 ip 00007f190f793723 sp 00007f1909a70750 error 6 in
libmysqlclient_r.so.16.0.0[7f190f728000+1cf000]
I've tried restarting Asterisk:
sferguson at sipwise:/etc/ngcp-config$ sudo /etc/init.d/asterisk start
But when I make the call the Asterisk is off again:
sferguson at sipwise:/etc/ngcp-config$ sudo /etc/init.d/asterisk status
asterisk is not running ... failed!
With the same output in syslog (*segfault*)
Other thing I've noticed is that when I start the Asterisk, this is the *
/var/log/ngcp/voicemail.log* output.

There seem to be some warnings, but this could be just normal (I'm a newby
to sipwise). If some of this is not right, please tell me how to solve it.
Where can I start looking for a solution?
Does anyone had the same problem?
I've read that the code is updated on a regular basis so I've upgraded the
system (*sudo apt-get upgrade*) but the problem is still there.
Regards,
Sebastian Ferguson
