Michael,
Thanks for that.
This is a fresh Debian install with 2.4 and then upgraded to 2.5. I'm not
sure the media proxy ever has worked.
I now get:
root at switch:~# dkms status
ngcp-mediaproxy-ng, 1.6.5, 2.6.32-5-vserver-amd64, x86_64: installed
ngcp-mediaproxy-ng, 1.6.5, 2.6.32-5-openvz-amd64, x86_64: installed
ngcp-mediaproxy-ng, 1.6.5, 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64, x86_64: installed
ngcp-mediaproxy-ng, 1.6.5, 2.6.32-042stab053.5, x86_64: built
ngcp-mediaproxy-ng, 1.6.5, 2.6.32-5-amd64, x86_64: installed
root at switch:~# uname -r
2.6.32-042stab053.5
root at switch:~#
root at switch:~# /etc/init.d/ngcp-mediaproxy-ng-daemon start
Starting RTP/media proxy: ngcp-mediaproxy-ng-daemonWARNING: Deprecated
config file /etc/modprobe.conf, all config files belong into
/etc/modprobe.d/.
FATAL: Module xt_MEDIAPROXY not found.
Thanks
John

What did you do before ngcp-mediaproxy-ng-daemon failed?
What's the output of:
dkms status
on your system?
Is this a fresh Debian installation where you're running the installer or is
it about an upgrade?
Does running:
VERSION=$(dkms status | grep ngcp-mediaproxy-ng | awk -F, '{print $2}' |
sed 's/:.*//')
dkms build -k $(uname -r) --kernelsourcedir /usr/src/linux-headers-$(uname
-r)
-m ngcp-mediaproxy-ng -v $VERSION
resolve your issue?
regards,
