[Spce-user] No billing profile with the specified profile-handle found

It seems I have found part of the issue.

The new subscriber is part of an account assigned to reseller 2 (not the default reseller).
I also have a Billing Profile which is assigned to this 2nd reseller.
When creating the account I applied the Billing profile from 2nd reseller.
When I log into the CSC as the subscriber this error message appeared.

Assigning a Billing Profile from Reseller 1 to the Customer Account works. Which is enormely strange because the affected Customer Account Contract is attached to Reseller 2.
When I log into the CSC as the subscriber this error message does NOT appear anymore.

Additionally when I try to re-assign the billing profile attached to reseller 2 to the Customer Account, I get the error:

Failed to update customer contract. (Contact and Billing profile should have the same reseller)

Clearly the system is confusing something here.
