Glad that's over. ;)

  I wish I knew exactly too. You shouldn't have to delete/recreate 
subscribers at all actually, I've been using spce since 2.2 and have not 
seen any 'ghost' behavior (which wasn't my own fault) until this.

  I supposed we should have started looking at the proxy.log sooner, 
that might have shown where the issue was specifically but at least its 
working now.
