[Spce-user] nginx version 1.2.1 rather than 1.4.4?

Correct. The official package for current stable (7) is still at 1.2.1, even though it's rather outdated by now.
1.4 is only available in the official repository for testing (jessie).

However, the dotdeb packages are usually very stable and are used by many production servers that need to use the latest software.
So, my question remains: can I update to dotdeb's 1.4 or will it break spce? Has anyone actually tried yet?

Thanks
