Thanks for the comprehensive answer.

Regarding 3.1 then, I hardly dare ask ... when is that expected?

Are you planning to include any new API methods at some point to help manage
Reseller contracts or Customer contracts?
e.g get all contracts/accounts of type customer; 
..or, some operations on product if that will be used as a top level entity?
