OK, but in the Interface if I try to start with a + it will be rejected, it
is not allowed to start with +.

In the Replacement Pattern you should not escape the plus sign with \ It
would be needed in the Match Pattern however.
As for replacement, \+ probably tells kamailio to look for varilable '+'
and this fails.. This is not related to updates, but probably you didn't
restart the proxy yet after adding those rules.. If you remove the backslash
sign it should work again.
