Hi Alessandro

Fix your problem with the rate and restart the service and it will start to rate unrated calls

If it continues to error then you haven't fixed your issue.

The other thing to do it correct the CDR so that it rates correctly.

If you have calls which have rated as $0.00 the you can look at the accounting database, CDR table and change the rated status from ok to unrated and if you want to reexport the CDR you can change the exported status from ok to unexported.

Cheers

Greg

Hi Greg,

yep, I see. I couldn’t imagine that it could cause the complete drop of rate-o-mat.

I wrote “no errors on rate-o-mat log” but then I noticed it on my mail. Sorry for the confusion.

So, what can I do to rebill calls which were skipped by rate-o-mat billing process?

Alessandro

Hi Alessandro

The error is pretty clear;

ug 27 10:17:34 sip rate-o-mat[6537]: No outbound fee info for profile 6 and source user '39075847xxx' or user/domain '390758472xxx at 185.xx.xx.xx' and destination user '003598xxxxxxx' or user/domain '003598xxxxxxx at xxxxxxxx’ found

You don't have a rate defined on your billing profile 6 for the destination 003598.

Looks like maybe your inbound re-write rule isn't stripping your 00 and your numbers back to E164?

If you fix your rule and restart ngcp-rate-o-mat service you'll see if it hits more errors.

You can't produce bills if your calls are not rating.

You need to fix the root cause which is the billing rate doesn't exist.

Greg

So, you are saying that, after this unmatched call, rate-o-mat stopped billing?

Also, is there a way to bill unrated calls? I have much calls which are not billed now.

Thanks,
Alessandro

Check that rate-o-mat is not throwing errors.

Tail the log, restart the service. You will see an error in the log if it's hitting a record it cannot rate.

If it hits a record it cannot rate it will wait until you have a rule to bill correctly then continue.

Hi,

I’m testing Sipwise CE in my production network by these 2 months and it worked well since now. Today we checked the billing on the Subscribers’ call log, and we saw that calls are not billed at all since yesterday.

So, we see calls on the log, we can also see their length, but Source Cust Cost is 0.00000 in every call.

Why do you think it could happen? Is also there a why to make sipwise bill that calls with a sort of script?
