Interesting indeed! I haven't tried on a micro instance for a while.
I will recheck the handbook. Maybe toggle performance config would help
to run it on micro instance:
/usr/sbin/ngcp-toggle-performance-config --low-performance
or in the worst case you can add swap as a file on a hard disk :)
