The uprade process fails when it tries to purge a nonexistant package:

2016-02-01 14:30:11: [23/36] Step '2.8/handle_apt_install_ngcp' has been
executed already, continuing with the next step...

E: Couldn't find any package by regex 'linux-headers-2.6-amd64'
ERROR: the step 'mr4.2/fix_purge_old_packages' failed, upgrade aborted!
Please fix the root of the issue and restart 'ngcp-upgrade'

I*ve manually purged what can be purged and then commented out some
lines in /usr/share/ngcp-upgrade/steps/mr4.2/fix_purge_old_packages.
After that the upgrade completed
