Thank you so much – it’s working. Just changed the domain to use Sip registration and it started working. It did boggle my mind why I couldn’t find rules regarding peer to peer routing. This makes much more sense anyway.

The PBXs should be set up as Subscribers, not as Peer.
By default peer-to-peer routing is disabled, and that is probably not what you want anyway.

Outbound Rule:

Inbound rule:

I think my config breaks when between accepting the call and then knowing to route it back out via the 3rd party SBC. The logs shows that it’s accepting the call, following the inbound route and that the callee is not local but instead of showing “Call to SIP Peering” like successful outbound it shows “Call to unknown user” which gives the impression it wants to keep the call local. I tried the same setup with multiple external PBXes and they produce the same result. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
