Hi Daniel,
i'm not using a smart host - just want to directly send email out from SPCE
6.5.3
I agree on older versions, simple run "dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config" and
it would work perfectly
i have set it up config.yml to reflect
email:
domain: ''
hostname: spce.mydomain.com
smarthost:
hostname:
password: ''
reverse_hostnames: []
username: ''
and this is what my logs are showing when i try to send out email
/var/log/exim4/mainlog

try it our self
1. change the config.yml (just put the hostname WITHOUT the smarthost)
2. run "dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config" - you'll then be able to verify what
changes config.yml did
3. look at the logs - and you'll see it can't route mail outside itself
I want to go into production and start replacing my old SPCE but a few
things are holding me back, including this
Thank you
