The issue you're seeing is that the setup of Debian security
repository was changed, see:

The mr6.5.3 ISO isn't aware of this issue, so it fails with "E: The
repository 'http://security.debian.org testing/updates Release' does
not have a Release file." when trying to update the repository
information.

mr6.5 is a LTS release and the bugfix for this issue (which BTW no
longer relies on the apt sources.list setup of the running
install/live system) is present in mr6.5.5 and newer, the currently
supported build is version mr6.5.6.

FTR, mr6.5.3 was released in January 2019 and since then we had
three version updates, you should really consider staying on the
supported release track. :)
