Hello,

you need one rewrite rule on subscriber for normalize 0049 to 49

then you need an additional rewrite rule for peering where you set the prefix 54545 in front of your 49 number.

Subscriber Rule:
Inbound Rewrite Rules for Callee

Match Pattern: ^(00|\+)([1-9][0-9]+)$

Replacement Pattern: \2

Peering Rule:

Outbound Rewrite Rules for Callee

Match Pattern: ^([0-9]+)$

Replacement Pattern: 54545\1

I would herbily recommend you to read the handbook in detail.
This information you will find there too…

Hi Walter,

Thanks for your reply!

What I try to achieve is the following:

1.	The subscriber is calling the following outbound number 00491234567
2.	The rewrite rules applied to the subscriber removed the leading 0 to 491234567
3.	The peering party requires a prefix of 54545 before the number 491234567 before it is going on the trunk to the peer.

I need to make a rewrite rule Outbound for Callee. Could you help me wat I need to put as Match en replace statement?

Kind regards,

Viraj

That is because you omit all numbers with 0 ...

I think you want to do this:

^([1-9][0-9]+)$

If you want to only allow numbers starting with 1-9...

Hi,

I am using mr8.5.3

I created a rewrite rule Outbound for Callee with the following values:
Match:
^([1-9]+)$

Replace:
54545\1

Enabled:
yes

When I try to place a call wilt outbound number: 1800654123 or 9165475633 than the prefix is not added in front of the number 1 or 9.
But when I call a number in the range of 2-8 for example: 5975644555 than the prefix of 54545 is being placed in front of 5975644555 .

Is this a bug in the current system?

Kind regards,

Viraj
