500GB SATAII
It´s a dedicated server from Hivelocity.

The message for libprotobuf was: protoc-c --c_out pinba.proto

Yes, I can still reproduce this issue, and the output of your requesteds
commands, are:

root at localhost:/usr/src/collectd-4.10.4# ps auxwww | grep 'collectd'
root 7975 0.0 0.0 7544 852 pts/0 S+ 06:10 0:00 grep
collectd

root at localhost:/usr/src/collectd-4.10.4# /etc/init.d/collectd restart
Restarting statistics collection and monitoring daemon: collectdNot
restarting collectd.

root at localhost:/usr/src/collectd-4.10.4# ps auxwww | grep 'collectd'
root 7999 0.0 0.0 7544 848 pts/0 S+ 06:14 0:00 grep
collectd

Any idea on how to continue? it´s possible to let collectd installed
manually and not check dependency for the other packakes of ngcp-installer?

Regards!
