Hi John,
I can also only imagine that perhaps it is having a problem with
127.0.0.1 address in Record-Route headers, like Audiocodes devices do.
The possible workaround for v2.7 is described here:
http://www.sipwise.com/doc/2.7/spce/ar01s05.html#_audiocodes_devices_workaround
Not sure if that is the case with NEC but trying it doesn't harm either.
