[Spce-user] Voicemail name and busy greeting

Thanks guys that's great.

The problem was a missing (or misspelt) filename in the british-english
announcements I had:

vm-reveiw.alaw instead of vm-review.alaw so the recordings were not being
saved.

Also where are the messages stored? I see them in the debug being played
back from:

-- <SIP/1.2.4.8-01b454f0> Playing
'/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/712b4fd0-4a50-4512-9c03-7dbd999834e4/
INBOX/msg0000 ' (language 'en')

But when I look in that directory it is empty.

Thanks

John

Incidentally, if you see these in your logs:

file.c:954 in ast_streamfile: Unable to open vm-youhave (format 0x100
(g729)): No such file or directory

channel.c:2958 in set_format: Unable to find a codec translation path from
0x100 (g729) to 0x8 (alaw)

This page will help you: http://asterisk.hosting.lv/

Since logs are rotated and it doesn't hurt anything, I do:

asterisk -r

exit

Then any time there is an issue (like now) I can tail-f, grep or cat
/var/log/ngcp/voicemail.log to see what has already happend. If you reboot
though you'll have to do the above again as asterisk will default back to
verbose 3 on restart.

Hello,

After recording voicemailbox name and busy greetings they do not get played
to callers leaving messages.

I can't seem to find any voicemail (asterisk) logs to debug this.

I can see that the recordings are stored in
/var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/3978f230-c438-4e81-b6a3-7ddb90324777/

drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Feb 20 19:11 greet

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 8575 Feb 20 19:38 unavail.tmp.WAV

Am I missing some config?

Regards

John
