You're right. Which version are you running? If 2.7, can you do an
"apt-get update; apt-get upgrade; ngcpcfg apply" (might result in a
short service down-time due to kamailio restart)? We've applied a fix
for 2.7 for properly setting the account_id fields on 3xx around a month
ago.
