It's true that the log files (especially kamailio-proxy.log and
kamailio-lb.log) are pretty extensive, and can increase over several
gigs per day. However, you'll appreciate that when you run into a
customer issue for the first time, where you'll be able to clearly
comprehend what was going on. And it's not like the SPCE is a tiny
system, so be prepared for quite some data (e.g. you get CDRs for each
call, which will be kept for 3 months by default, then backed up to
/var/backups/cdr for 12 months by default etc.

Also note that log files get rotated and compressed nightly, and are
kept for however long you choose to (3 months by default). You can
fine-tune that by copying
/etc/ngcp-config/templates/etc/logrotate.d/ngcp.tt2 to
/etc/ngcp-config/templates/etc/logrotate.d/ngcp.customtt.tt2, adapt it
to your needs and execute "ngcpcfg apply" afterwards.

That's the preferred way to keep your used disk space low, instead of
starting to reduce log messages.

Andreas
