A WAV is just fine. The panel will transcode it internally where

We tried to name them properly, but I agree that a longer description
is missing in the panel. For now, you can only search for it in
proxy.cfg.tt2.

No. If no sound-file is set, it's just simply not played. If somebody
wants to contribute recordings in his/her language to the CE, please
get in touch with me!

Yes. The sound set id to be used is just stored as preference in peer,
domain and usr internally, and preferences are re-loaded in case of a
forward. If there are any issues with that, please let us know.
