[Spce-user] Users cannot retrieve messages from voicemail

nobody has been able to confirm if this is a bug or not.  Does anyone have this working where they can check voicemails from a phone using 5.5.4, 4.5.8 or 6.1.1 (6.2.1 now i guess)?

I have tried this with 3 different installations (6.1.1, 5.5.4 and 4.5.8).  In call cases I can't retrieve voicemail messages by accessing them via dial 2000.  depending on which version i was using i would get as far as it reading the time stamp, get a busy signal and in the logs see:

in ast_openstream_full: File digits/today does not exist in any format

in ast_streamfile: Unable to open digits/1 No such file or directory

or get past the date and hear how many messages, press 1 for new messages and then get busy when messages went to play.  my logs showed similar results:

in ast_openstream_full: File digits/today does not exist in any format

in ast_streamfile: Unable to open digits/today (format (alaw)): No such file or directory

has anyone had this problem and been able to fix it?

I have experienced the same issue since my install a month or two ago and have seen at least one other via these emails with the same problem.  I was thinning maybe it was a permission issue with SPEC trying to open the voice file but I noticed "file not found" in my logs.  I'm guessing and hoping its a bug that will be fixed in the next resale.  I haven't looked at it in a little while but I think its about time I do again.

Problem:

-          Remote user leaves a message for the subscriber

-          Subscriber calls 2000 to retrieve their messages and hears the announcement “You have two new messages”
