Exactly. Sorting hast o be sacrificed when clipping comes into effect to gain speed.
As soon as you you specify filters to drop below 1000, sorting should apply again.

If a call history selection contains over 1000 entries, sorting doesn't work anymore. Is this by design for performance reasons?
