Hi Sipwise, SPCE-users,

I think I understand why mr7.1.1 ISO doesn't boot under UEFI.

The file boot/efi.img should be a FAT file image not a PE32 executable/.

>From a Debian install CD:
file efi.img
efi.img: DOS/MBR boot sector, code offset 0x3c+2, OEM-ID "mkfs.fat",
sectors/cluster 4, root entries 512, sectors 832 (volumes <=32 MB),
Media descriptor 0xf8, sectors/FAT 1, sectors/track 32, heads 64,
serial number 0x26014b2a, unlabeled, FAT (12 bit)

>From mr7.1.1 ISO:
file efi.img
efi.img: PE32+ executable (EFI application) x86-64 (stripped to
external PDB), for MS Windows

Maybe the mastering of the ISO did not create boot/efi.img correctly.
