Daniel,

What format would I enter the local subscriber in the permanent contact
field?

I have a local user phone4 at skyrack.net with number 442034567890 and the SPCE
is 109.100.100.102.

Should I use sip:phone4.net or sip:442034567890 at 109.100.100.102

I have tried both and get SIP/2.0 500 I'm terribly sorry, server error
occurred (6/TM)'

Yes, of course. It can be any number, inside or outside your domain.

Daniel,

Can the SIP URI be another local subscriber on the SPCE?

Hi Jeremie,
If one rings and it is not answered the system follows the next entry (that
what the hunting does). If the next entry is the voicebox it will go into
it, if it's another SIP URI it will call the SIP URI.

Begin forwarded message:

One ringing after the other is fine. I don't need them to ring all at once.
What I was hoping for is if one rings and is not answered it would go to
voicemail on the main line instead of ringing through the entire ring group.

Hi jeremie,
it's not possible to convert a hunt group into a ringgroup (o callgroup), so
using the call forwards section you cannot call, for example, 3 different
sip URI at the same time and if no answer go to voicemail.

Here you can find some hints:
http://lists.sipwise.com/pipermail/spce-user/2011-July/000505.html

Also you can try this way:

1. create a dummy subscriber (D) where you can add your SIP URI to call as
"permanent contact" (B and C)
2. Set call forward for you target SIP URI (A) as:
        - Call D for 300sec
        - Call Voicemail

In this way, if you call A, the system will call the dummy subscriber D in
parallel forking on B and C (so B and C will ring at the same time). After
300sec, if no answer the call will go to voicemail.

The problem here is to use SIP permanent Contact for the dummy subscriber,
that could be change over time.

Cheers,

Daniel

I have hunting down but there is one thing I haven't figured out.

I have a hunt group set for busy. What I would like it to do is ring the
hunt group for a given time and if no answer go to voicemail for the main
line.

Right now it rings through all numbers before going to voicemail.

Any help would be appreciated
