We've tried a proof-of-concept once and it worked, but not really very
well (the sip stack required the java frontend, which didn't have any
API for seamless integration, and the mcu itself kept crashing), so it
never made it. I've heard some people were having better results, but
nobody cared to contribute something yet.

Currently working with the jitsi videobridge in our spare times, let's
see how this is going to work out, as it doesn't provide sip integration
out of the box, so we're currently implementing a sip<->xmpp adapter for
controlling the bridge.
